Cancellations & Absences (No-Shows)
At United Ride Pty Ltd (trading as Embia House) our class sizes are small and can fill quickly. This is why our Cancellation Policy exists which all clients must be adhere to:
Group classes: Cancellations need to be made more than 8 hours prior to your class beginning (morning or evenings). We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise but we have to be strict, fair and consistent with all clients across all studios therefore NO exceptions will be made.
If you have booked into a class and wish to cancel your attendance, you must withdraw from the class directly from the class (online or via the Momence App - available from the Google Play/App Store). This time period is known as the “Early Cancellation Window”. We will not accept cancellations by phone, e-mail or any other method other than by using the Momence App or website.
If you need to cancel a class, the following cancellation fee structure will apply:
Early cancel: If you can no longer make your class, cancel your booking at least 8 hours before the class start time. You won’t forfeit the session, or pay a fee.
Late cancel: Cancellations made within 8 hours of the class start time, will result in a late cancellation fee (*see below) or forfeiting their credit. Clients who book using a package, will forfeit their credit. All other clients who book using an ongoing membership, or unlimited usage membership will be charged fees as below.
Standard Class: $15.00 AUD
Peak Class: $20.00 AUD
A peak class is defined as any weekend class, or a weekday class which has a scheduled attendance of 80% or more.
Absence (No-show): If you don’t cancel your class prior to the class start time and do not attend, you will forfeit your session and be charged a one-off cancellation fee of $30.00 AUD. Nobody likes a no - show! Please make room for others.
All clients, regardless of their membership type, are liable for payment of an absent fee.
If the class you’d like to attend is fully booked, we recommend joining the waitlist. Due to our 8-hour early cancellation window, there are typically changes to class attendance and places may become available. Should a place open up for you, you will receive a notification (via email or text message) offering you the place. Please respond to this notification by declining your spot if you are unable to attend.
If you can’t attend, notify us as quickly as you can and your place will be offered to the next client on the waitlist
If you don’t respond to the waitlist offer notification (if you are notified of your spot more than 8 hours prior to class starting), and then don’t attend the class, the no-show fee will apply – you will forfeit your session and be charged a one-off cancellation fee, as stipulated above.
AM classes - If you don’t respond to the waitlist offer notification (if you are notified of your spot less than 8 hours prior To the morning class starting), and then don’t attend the class or late cancel, the cancellation or no-show policy will not apply.
PM classes - If you don’t respond to the waitlist offer notification (if you are notified of your spot less than 8 hours prior To the PM, including lunch classes starting), and then don’t attend the class or late cancel, the cancellation or no-show policy will apply.
If you place yourself on the waitlist and then later realise, you’re unable to attend that particular class, we encourage you to remove yourself from the waitlist. This avoids you being placed in the class if a spot becomes available, and potentially forfeiting your session and being charged a ‘no- show’ or ‘late cancel’ fee. Spots become available for waitlisted clients with as little as 1 hours’ notice – be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend the class.
Cancellations/Rescheduling classes need to be made more than 8 hours prior to your class beginning (morning or evenings). We understand sometimes unforeseeable circumstances can arise, but we have to be strict, fair and consistent with all clients across all studios therefore NO exceptions will be made. Refer to our cancellation policy below for further details
